Voice Artist

Voice acting is the art of performing voice-overs or providing voices to represent a character or to provide information to an audience or user.Performers are called voice actors or actresses, voice artists or voice talent. Their roles may also involve singing, although a second voice actor is sometimes cast as the character's singing voice.

Voice-over (also known as off-camera or off-stage commentary) is a production technique where a voice—that is not part of the narrative (non-diegetic)—is used in a radio, television production, filmmaking, theatre, or other presentations. It is usually prerecorded and placed over the top of a film or video and commonly used in documentaries or news reports to explain information. Dubbing is most familiar to audiences as a means of translating foreign-language films into the audience’s language. In film production, Lip synching is often part of the postproduction phase. Dubbing foreign-language films and making animated characters appear to speak both require elaborate lip-synching.
